What is the difference between workflow automation and RPA?

Workflow automation connects systems through APIs, webhooks and events. Robotic process automation drives an application's user interface the way a person would. AO uses APIs where systems support them and RPA where they do not.

Yes. AO has experience with UiPath and can design, build and support automations on the platform, subject to your licensing. AO does not claim vendor certification or formal partnership.

Does AO support Blue Prism?

Yes. AO has experience with Blue Prism and can implement and support automations on it, subject to your licensing.

What is RPA-as-code?

RPA-as-code implements automation using code-based frameworks and browser or process automation rather than a visual RPA tool, giving greater control, versioning, testability and CI/CD integration.

When should a business use RPA instead of an API integration?

Use an API integration whenever the system exposes one: it is faster, more reliable and easier to monitor. Use RPA when a legacy, desktop or closed system has no suitable interface, or when automating the user interface delivers value sooner than replacing the system.

Can RPA and API integration work together?
