From digital attention to product-in-hand.
Send Me Some helps brands reach selected consumers, deliver physical products directly to them and measure engagement from initial click through product trial, feedback and follow-up.
An AO Group product venture powered by digital, software and operational capability.

Send Me Some in short
- What is Send Me Some?
- Send Me Some is AO Group’s digital product sampling platform and managed campaign service. It helps brands reach harder-to-reach consumers who increasingly work, shop and stream from home, and can put products in their hands in as little as 30 minutes in supported locations, from clicking on our ad. Brands can also collect agreed campaign insights, feedback and marketing permissions where consumers provide the relevant consent.
- What is digital product sampling?
- Digital product sampling uses digital audience targeting and online consumer journeys to place physical or digital product experiences with selected consumers, and to measure agreed campaign outcomes such as claims, delivery, feedback and follow-up engagement.
- How does Send Me Some work?
- A campaign runs through six stages: campaign design, audience activation, qualification and consent, claim and delivery, product engagement and feedback, and reporting. AO manages the stages agreed with the brand; the brand supplies approved product stock and campaign investment.
- Can samples be delivered in 30 minutes?
- In supported locations, selected samples may be delivered in as little as 30 minutes. Delivery speed depends on campaign scope, stock availability and fulfilment coverage, so rapid delivery is a campaign capability in selected service areas rather than a universal guarantee.
Traditional product sampling has lost reach.
The places where brands once introduced products to consumers have changed. Magazine inserts have declined. Many consumers spend less time browsing physical retail aisles. Work, entertainment, shopping and food delivery increasingly happen from home or through digital services.
Yet physical trial still matters. Consumers want to see, taste, use and experience products before changing their buying behaviour.
Traditional sampling also creates familiar challenges
- Products are distributed too broadly
- Samples may reach people outside the intended audience
- Stock can be lost, duplicated or misused
- Brands receive limited information about the recipient
- Follow-up is difficult
- Conversion and longer-term impact are hard to measure
Send Me Some brings product sampling into the digital customer journey.

Send Me Some connects a consumer’s digital response with physical delivery. In supported locations, selected samples may be delivered in as little as 30 minutes, depending on campaign scope, stock availability and fulfilment coverage.
Campaigns can also be designed for scheduled or same-day delivery, and can be activated across South Africa, subject to stock and fulfilment coverage.

Your product. One accountable campaign partner.
The brand provides the approved product stock and campaign investment. AO manages the coordinated campaign experience.
Scope varies by campaign — capabilities are selected and configured to suit the product, audience and objectives.
A sample should feel like an experience—not a giveaway.
Each journey can be shaped around the product and campaign objective. From the first ad to the delivery notification, the package opening and the follow-up conversation, every touchpoint can reflect the brand.
