How Send Me Some works
A coordinated journey from campaign planning and consumer targeting to delivery, engagement and insight.

- Stage 01
Campaign design
Audience, objectives, eligible locations, product quantities, campaign period, brand requirements, compliance requirements and measurement criteria are agreed before anything goes live.
- Consumer experience
- Nothing yet — the experience they will later see is being shaped around a defined audience profile.
- What the brand gains
- A written campaign definition: who it targets, where it runs, how many samples move and what success will be measured against.
- Managed by Send Me Some
- Facilitating the brief, translating objectives into campaign rules, and confirming compliance and measurement criteria up front.
- Stage 02
Audience activation
Approved media channels are used to reach suitable audience segments. Campaigns may use paid social, search, CRM audiences, partner audiences or selected digital placements.
- Consumer experience
- Sees a relevant campaign message in a channel they already use, with a clear explanation of the offer.
- What the brand gains
- Reach concentrated on the intended audience rather than broad, unqualified impressions.
- Managed by Send Me Some
- Coordinating the activation plan across approved channels and keeping messaging aligned to brand and campaign rules.
- Stage 03
Qualification and consent
The consumer enters a campaign experience, answers relevant qualifying questions and makes clear consent choices.
- Consumer experience
- A short, plain-language journey: a few qualifying questions and explicit choices about what they agree to.
- What the brand gains
- Qualified requests captured through a consent-led journey. Brands receive agreed campaign reporting and appropriately permissioned information according to the campaign consent model and contractual data responsibilities.
- Managed by Send Me Some
- Running the campaign experience, applying the agreed qualification rules and capturing consent correctly.
- Stage 04
Claim, fulfilment and delivery
Approved claims enter the managed fulfilment process. Inventory, packaging, dispatch and delivery status are coordinated through Send Me Some.
- Consumer experience
- Confirmation of the claim, then delivery of the product with status updates along the way.
- What the brand gains
- Product reliably in the hands of qualified recipients, with fulfilment and delivery reported as part of the campaign record.
- Managed by Send Me Some
- Coordinating inventory, packaging, dispatch and delivery status through an integrated delivery network of fulfilment and delivery partners.
- Stage 05
Product experience and engagement
The recipient opens and experiences the product. QR, NFC or WhatsApp interactions may guide instructions, feedback, reviews, content or offer redemption.
- Consumer experience
- Real trial at home or in the moment of use, with an easy route into instructions, feedback or a follow-on offer.
- What the brand gains
- Structured feedback, sentiment, reviews and redemption behaviour where recipients choose to respond, tied to a confirmed delivery.
- Managed by Send Me Some
- Designing and running the post-delivery engagement journey across the agreed channels.
- Stage 06
Reporting and optimisation
The campaign closes the loop through reporting on agreed audience, delivery, engagement, feedback and conversion indicators.
- Consumer experience
- A campaign that reflects what earlier recipients said, because feedback shapes the next round.
- What the brand gains
- One reported dataset covering audience, delivery, engagement, feedback and conversion indicators — and a clear basis for the next campaign.
- Managed by Send Me Some
- Consolidating campaign reporting and recommending optimisations for subsequent waves.
How a Send Me Some campaign runs
- How does Send Me Some work?
- A campaign runs through six stages: campaign design, audience activation, qualification and consent, claim and delivery, product engagement and feedback, and reporting. AO manages the stages agreed with the brand; the brand supplies approved product stock and campaign investment.
- Can samples be delivered in 30 minutes?
- In supported locations, selected samples may be delivered in as little as 30 minutes. Delivery speed depends on campaign scope, stock availability and fulfilment coverage, so rapid delivery is a campaign capability in selected service areas rather than a universal guarantee.
- Can campaigns operate nationally?
- Send Me Some enables brands to run targeted digital product-sampling campaigns across South Africa, subject to campaign scope, stock availability and fulfilment coverage. Nationwide campaign capability is tailored to stock, audience and fulfilment requirements, and does not mean 30-minute delivery is available everywhere.
- What products can be sampled?
- Campaigns may support food and beverages, beauty and personal care, household products, wellness products, pet care, trial kits, vouchers and selected experiences. Product suitability and regulatory compliance are assessed during campaign planning.
- How does AO protect consumer information?
- Consumers are asked for specific, informed consent, only the information needed for the campaign is collected, and processing follows the AO Privacy Centre and applicable privacy law such as POPIA. Data responsibilities and permitted use are agreed contractually for each campaign.
- How does a brand start a campaign?
- Book a discovery call. AO will help define the audience, campaign objective, stock requirements, footprint, consumer experience and measurement approach before any campaign is scoped.
